The AESOP MINI-HUDDLE was developed by the Error Prevention Institute several years ago to provide an easy to remember framework or checklist to reduce mistakes, incidents, and accidents. It is an extension of all the concepts that we develop during Error Prevention training.

The AESOP MINNI HUDDLE is a tool which helps us to STOP and identify all risks prior to making a decision and to fully appreciate their combined potential to cause a problem. It is in the form of an easy to remember acronym for a checklist that consists of five questions that help you quickly determine the level of risk involved for an individual or team for a given task, project or event.
